The Laurelhurst Parent Meeting with School Board Representatives to learn more about Middle School options currently under consideration, which include potentially changing reference middle is happening on Thursday at 6:30pm in the School Cafeteria.
The Seattle School District recently released a proposal for short term capacity management and new student assignment transition for the next school year, which has been presented to the Seattle School Board and is scheduled to be voted on, on January 23rd.
The Laurelhurst School PTA has invited Seattle School Board Director Harium Martin-Morris to discuss the proposals, pros, cons and rationale, along with Sherry Carr and Assistant Superintendent of Operations, Pegi McEvoy.
All current Laurelhurst and prospective Laurelhurst families are invited to attend with questions and concerns.
