Safety Classes Tomorrow And Following Saturdays At Magnuson


A reader sent us this email about a series of skills-based classes offered by the Seattle Office of Emergency Management, which take place at Magnuson Park, Building 406 (the Brig).

These classes are intended to enhance the participant's ability to personally respond during disasters and teach life-saving skills that can be used both in a disaster and in  everyday life.

Classes are free, but space is limited. To register, email: snap@seattle.gov.  Include your name, email address, phone, the courses you are interested in and dates you are interested in attending.

Fire Extinguisher Use & Utility Control
March 3rd
9-11, 12-2pm

Light Search and Rescue
March 17th
8:30- 3pm

Disaster First Aid
March 31st
8:30 - 5pm
