Thanks to Kim Dales for providing us with this neighborhood real estate activity monthly report:
We have had a rather slow start to our historically rapid February market in Laurelhurst. Five news listings, but those over $2,000,000 are re-listed waterfronts properties that were taken off the market over the holidays. These properties have of course driven up the average list price in Laurelhurst.
The encouraging news is reflected in our average days on market, less that 30 days, which is a healthy closing time line.
I know I sound like a broken record, but the surplus of buyers combined with low interest rates is a breath of fresh air for sellers. In Laurelhurst and other Seattle neighborhoods have been seeing multiple offers. I am anticipating a busy March for the Laurelhurst housing market.
