"Castaway On The Moon" Showing On Talaris Campus Tonight

WuHsing Tao School of Acupuncture (4000 NE 41st Street., Building D), located at the Talaris campus, is having another movie night tonight, showing Castaway on the Moon at 7:15pm with a suggested donation of $3-5.

The event is open to the community and seating is open.  There will be snacks and popcorn for sale, and all donations go towards a student scholarship fund that goes directly to WuHsing Tao Students.

Films each month are "chosen based on the Season, Element, Emotion, Persona, or other Metaphoric Investigations," Iman with the school told us.

Information about Castaway on the Moon:
Kim Seong-geun (Jae-yeong Jeong), despondent over being dumped by his girl, decides to end it all by jumping into the Han River, but instead wakes up on a tiny island in the middle of the waterway, now a castaway in the teeming heart of civilization. Part social commentary, part romantic adventure with hints of science fiction, Lee Hey-jun's film touches on topics ranging from economic disparity to the alienating nature of modern urban existence. A touching film that explores the depths of human emotion.
