Kids Art Classes Start Tomorrow At The Community Center

Katrina Strand, a Laurelhurst Mom, is starting her series of children's art classes for 2-5 year olds, called Create Art With Kids, on Thursdays starting tomorrow at the Laurelhurst Community Center.

She told us that for this upcoming winter session she is teaching two classes, which will feature new projects and techniques.

Katrina double-majored in Fashion Design and Apparel Merchandising and holds degrees from Purdue and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She has an art minor from Purdue and has taught art to young children while in High School and College. She currently stays home with her two young children.

You can sign up online or in person at the Laurelhurst Community Center Monday-Friday 9 am - 2 pm, or by calling 206-684-7529 during these hours or by also calling the Magnuson Community Center at 206-684-7026 or  registering in person that Community Center.

Katrina told us that since the class is under enrolled this session students can attend the first class and try it for $2.
