Don't Miss Upcoming Laurelhurst PTA Fundraisers For The Whole Family

Don't miss a fun Laurelhurst PTA fundraising event tomorrow at Chuck E Cheese in Bellevue from 3-9pm.

This is the first of three upcoming and fun fundraisers, two in partnership with local businesses, to benefit Laurelhurst Elementary School that are "fun and easy way to raise money for theschool," one of the Committee Members told us.

The money raised by the PTA through the donations is used to pay for services and programs that are no longer paid for by the State or the District, such as art programs, technology for the classrooms, reading tutors, inspiring field trips, general music program, reading tutors, math tutors, science enrichment and advanced learning enrichment, as well as a full-time librarian.

Laurelhurst PTA Auction Committee invites everyone to the event tomorrow at Chuck E Cheese tomorrow, and be sure to mention "Laurelhurst" and Chuck E. Cheese will donate 15% of register sales back to the school.

On February 28th have dinner at Varlamos (3617 NE 45th Street) and and be waited on by Laurelhurst Kindergarten teacher Jen Anderson and a fun group of Moms (Alli Sweet, Wendy Harper, Molly Black, and Kristen DePew)

100% of the tips will be donated to the Laurelhurst PTA. "So you'll want to leave big tips," one of the Committee members told us adding  "How easy is this?  Eat, have fun with your temporary wait staff, leave a tip and help us raise money for Laurelhurst PTA."

The last event will be on March 7th from 3:30-10pm,  at Menchie'sFrozen Yogurt in the University Village. Menchies will  donate 20% of sales for anyone who mentions "Laurelhurst".

"Spread the word to all your friends and neighbors!" the PTA Committee member told us.
