Learn Home Weatherization Tips At Sustainable NE Seattle Monthly Meeting Tomorrow



A reader let us know that this month's Sustainable NE Seattle meeting will be about home weatherization tips. The meeting is tomorrow from 6:30-9pm at the Wedgwood Presbyterian Church (8008 35th Avenue NE).

The information says:
There are some immediate things we can do to make our homes more energy efficient. We will learn what to do before replacing windows from one of our community experts. Also, learn about Solarize NESeattle, project to bring reasonable pricing for solar power to our neighborhood. Additionally, SustainableWorks® home retrofitting org., will be here for input and Q&A.
Sustainable NE Seattle an organizaton serving several NE neighborhoods, including Laurelhurst that is "working together on various action projects in such areas as food security and growing local food, alternative transportation systems and neighborhood mapping, tree and habitat preservation, green building and energy efficiency...trying to effect positive change for our locality, creating a world that works for all," their website says.
