SR 520 Bridge Closed This Week-end

The SR 520 bridge and highway will be closed this week-end, July 8-11.

The information says:

WSDOT maintenance crews will inspect and make repairs to the floating bridge to make sure it will continue to carry traffic safely through winter weather.

Crews on the east side of the SR 520 floating bridge will take advantage of the maintenance closure by installing a fish-passage culvert under the highway to improve fish habitat along the corridor and complete other time-sensitive construction activities between Medina and I-405.



All ramps between Montlake Boulevard and I-405, and the entire bridge in both directions will close at 11 p.m. on Friday evening, and will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday morning. 

SR 520 will remain open between Montlake Boulevard and I-5.
