Seattle Police North Precinct Community Picnic On Saturday


The Seattle Police Foundation is inviting all residents to the North Precinct Picnic, this Saturday from 1-4pm, at the North Precinct (10049 College Way North.)

The Foundation, started hosting this family event in 2004, along with other local businesses as an "opportunity for the business and residential communities in the precinct geographical boundaries to come together and enjoy a day to meet and interact with their local officers in a fun environment," the information says.

There will be free food, ice cream, music, precinct tours and an opportunity to see the Mounted Patrol, K-9 police dog, as well as see a bomb squad robot in action. 

Entertainment, interesting activities and displays for adults and kids, as well a a chance to meet officers from the Precinct
will also be part of the community picnic.

The North Precinct serves Laurelhurst and about 35 other neighborhoods.
