Help the Department Of Neighborhoods Prioritize Its Community Strategies And Activities

The  Department of Neighborhoods (DON) is conducting a public survey through today to gather input on how it can most effectively provide support to the over 180 neighborhoods that it serves.

DON's goal is to connect people, communities, and government.

The goal of the survey is to ask Seattle’s community members how to prioritize DON's "outreach strategies" (developing working relationships with people and/or groups for purposes, including sharing information, education, or services) and community engagement activities (enabling community members to effectively deliberate, dialogue, and take action on public issues as well as the design and delivery of public servicesto maximize limited resources.)

The role of DON is to provide "resources and opportunities for Seattle community members to build strong communities and improve their quality of life, as well as helping neighbors develop a stronger sense of place and build closer ties with their communities and local government."

Here is the link to the survey.
