Tomorow and Saturday is the annual Hardy Fern Foundation Fern Festival and Sale at the Center For Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street) in Laurelhurst.
The hours are tomorrow from 1 – 6:30pm and Saturday from 10am – 2pm.
On Friday evening at 7pm, Marietta O’Byrne, noted shade gardening and hellebore expert will be holding a lecture. Marietta co-owns Northwest Garden Nursery with her husband, Ernie.
The website says this is the largest fern sale of the year. There will also be hosta and other shade loving plants for sale. And experts will be on hand to help shoppers make selections.
