Shop To Make A Difference For Cancer Research This Week-end At University Village


Kristen, a long time resident of Laurelhurst and who also works at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, sent us email to let the neighborhood know that the popular three day event, "Shop to Make A Difference," is coming up this week-end, May 13, 14 and 15, at the University Village.

Kristen has worked at the Hutchinson Center for nearly 12 years and has a son starting at Laurelhurst Elementary School in the fall.  She has currently been working hard on the upcoming special shopping event, benefitting women's cancer research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

The information says:

Do a good deed in the fight against cancer while enjoying a great opportunity to enjoy savings while supporting cancer research.while finishing your spring shopping.  Purchase a $25 Cure Card and receive 20% off purchases from a variety of retailers (include Anthropologie, Eileen Fisher, Free People, Fran’s Chocolates, Hanna Andersson, J. Crew, Kid’s Club, Restoration Hardware and many more) as well as many restaurants.

Cure Cards can be purchased in advance here or at the University Village during the event.
