March Laurelhurst Real Estate Summary

Welcome to spring. Almost as predicted the Market started heating up in March with 9 homes entering the marketplace and 5 of those homes going Pending after only a few days on the market. This increase in activity is fairly typical for this time of year, but we are even seeing some multiple offer situations which is promising.

Sellers appear to be pricing their homes to sell, not to sit, which is reducing average days on the market.

One home on the corner of NE 47th and 48th Ave NE is back on the market due to buyer financing issues. The short sale property on 47th Ave NE continues to be pending.

April will continue to see more homes coming on the market with hopefully the same interest level that was demonstrated in March. Interest rates continue to be extremely attractive.
