A new musical, The King's Proposal or the Marriage of Princess Guido, starts on Saturday at the Seattle Musical Theatre in Magnuson Park (7120 62nd Avenue NE).
"The King's Proposal or the Marriage of Princess Guido, is the tale of an evil King who tries to marry his daughter to an unwanted suitor. When the King's servant Guido is charged with making the marriage happen, the play descends into mistaken identities, forced marriage, forced puppetry, forced cross-dressing, forced songs and swords," the website says.
The show, featuring a cast of predominantly local actors, runs until April 10th. Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. There is also a special show Thursday, April 7,th at 7:30pm.
