Storytime This Saturday at UW Botanic Gardens' Miller Library


This Saturday is another fun storytime starting at 10:30am at UW Botanic Garden's, Miller Library, on NE 41st Street in Laurelhurst. The theme is Incredible Insects.

"Insects are fascinating and also essential to life on earth. Enjoy learning about honeybees, ladybugs, and one ravenous caterpillar at this story program," the website says.

After the books are read, the kids will get to make an insect craft.

Here are the books that the librarian will read:

FROM FLOWER TO HONEY by Robin Nelson
THE LADYBUG by Pascale de Bourgoing
THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR by Eric Carle
