Crews working for SDOT are in the process of installing a permanent railing on the NE 45th Street Viaduct this week as part of the West Approach Replacement Project.
Today and tomorrow crews will be working on the south side of the viaduct, which "should not impact traffic," the SDOT website says.
On Thursday and Friday of this week, crews will switch to the north side of the viaduct which will require the closure of one northbound (uphill) lane. One lane of traffic will still be open during the work.
