The SAC (Standing Advisory Comittee) will have its sixth meeting tomorrow night from 6:30-9pm in the Sound Cafe on the 5th floor in the Whale Zone.
The meeting will focus on the Helistop (helicopter pad) and the proposal to move it 250 to 300 feet closer to residences on and around NE 45th Street.
The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) was reconstituted by Children’s Hospital and the City of Seattle as the SAC and is made up of representatives of Children’s Hospital, and surrounding communities.
It advises the City and Children’s Hospital on development that will be starting soon under the provisions of the new Children’s Hospital Major Institution Master Plan.
The meeting will start with a presentation by Children's on the helistop MUP application followed by public comment at 7:30pm.
After the break, the committee will have a discussion of possible comments regarding the helistop MUP to submit to Children's.
