Storytime Tomorrow Morning At Botanic Gardens in Laurelhurst

Miller Library at the UW Botanic Gardens on NE 41st in Laurelhurst is having another storytime tomorrow as part of their Fall Fling Series. It's geared towards ages 2-8 but all ages are welcome and there is no cost.

You can read more about the series, history of the storytime and Laura the librarian, in a post we did last month.

It goes from 10:30-11:15 AM and the description says:

What’s the best thing about fall? Whether you think it’s the pumpkin patch trip, the leaves crunching underfoot, or the chance to wear your favorite sweater again, cozying up indoors on a rainy day (or maybe all four), let’s celebrate autumn. After the stories, look closer at leaves and make your own leaf puzzle.

And the books that will be read are:

THE LITTLE YELLOW LEAF by Carin Berger
WHY DO LEAVES CHANGE COLOR? by Betty Maestro
LEAF MAN by Lois Ehlert
RAINY MORNING by Daniel Pinkwater
PUMPKINS by Ken Robbins

On November 6th, the library will be holding a 25th Anniversary Open House from 9 am-3 pm, with 10:30 am story time and applesauce-making. We'll send more details as it gets closer.
