Small Garden Designs Talk at Center for Urban Horticulture Tomorrow


Tomorrow night from 7-8:30pm, Marty Wingate will be giving a talk called "Small Garden Design" in the Douglass Classroom at the Center for Urban Horticulture at  3501 NE 41st Street in Laurelhurst. 


The lecture description says:

Smalll spaces can hold impressive gardens, but fitting the pieces together and making every inch count can be a challenge. Come find out - with problems and questions in hand - how to include everything you want in your small garden, from water featurees to tomatoes, and still have a place to sit down.


Marty wingate is a Seattle-based writer and speaker about gardens and travel. Her new book, tentatively titled "Buffers and Barriers, Hedges and Screens", will be published in June 2011 by Timber Press.
