Upcoming Magnuson's Children's Garden Events

Emily, from the Magnuson Children's Garden Committee, sent us email about some fun upcoming events for the whole family.

Here is what she said:

"Summer afternoons doing light garden tasks:

Wed. July 21st from 1:00-3:00pm

Wed. Aug. 18th from 1:00-3:00pm

All tasks are suitable for adults and children to help with, and adults who participate are invited to bring children with them for free nature activities, such as exploring the worm bin, going on sensory walks, creating nature art, planting and harvesting. Tools and gloves are provided for all adults and children, along with refreshments! Teens receive service-learning credit.

Music and Nature Events:

Come by for family-friendly garden events during some of the summer concerts at the nearby Amphitheater! Listen to fun local bands while you and your children explore the world of plants, insects, birds, and bugs in the garden. You'll also enjoy nature arts and crafts, games, and other festivities in the children's garden!

Friday July 30th from 6-8pm, during the 'Not Its' concert.

Sat. Sept. 4th from Noon-4pm during the Blues For Food Festival"

You can email magnusonchildrensgarden@gmail.com if you plan to go to any of the events.

Magnuson Children's Garden is inside Magnuson Park and located right behind building #406, also known as "The Brig."

Here is a post we did about this very unique garden last August.
