LCC Board Meeting Tonight - Hear About Some New Pedestrian Safety Ideas
Tonight at 7pm is the monthly Laurelhurst Community Club Board Meeting at St. Stephens Church.
Among the interesting items on the agenda will be a follow-up from Cary Lassen, Crime Prevention Representative on pedestrian and bike safety due to the unfortunate pedestrian/car accident of one of Laurelhurst residents in March who still remains hospitalized.
Cary tells us that she is writing a newsletter article and is going to brief the board on a meeting she had with David Hiller from Cascade Bike Club, Paulo Nunes-Ueno from Children's and Sam Woods from SDOT.
"We actually rode down the hill and stopped at intersections and crossings along the trail and Sand Point Way. Very interesting and there are some things we can ask SDOT to address now," Cary says.
She welcomes the community's input as well as questions tonight when she presents her report.
