Get Your Unused Paints Picked Up This Week-end In Celebration of Earth Day

Cole Palea, from REED Painting Company is having a paint drive this week-end in celebration of Earth Day.

Cole tells us that Laurelhurst is their main area of service and they have many valuable, repeat customers in the neighborhood

Last summer we did a post on the company's offer of doing neighborhood sprucing up service projects for free. They also run monthly ads in the Laurelhurst Community Club Newsletter.
For only $20 you can schedule a pick-up to have all your unwanted paint picked up for up to 20 gallons. Or you can drop them off at Reed Painting's shop, located in Fremont, for $1 a gallon.

You will receive REED dollars in return to be used towards any service they offer which includes power/window washing, gutter cleaning, or painting. If you drop-off your paint, you will get $100 REED towards a service.

His press release says:
Old paint stored up in your garage that you want to get rid of? Don't know what to do with it? In appreciation for our environment, and in celebration of Earth Day 2010, REED Painting Co. will be holding a paint drive in their efforts to reduse, reuse, recycle industry waste. Paints will be donated to local community organizations, non-profits or will be re-used.

More information can be found on their website.
