Tomorrow looks like it may be a sunny morning for a couple of outdoor work parties at neighboring Magnuson Park.
The first is called the Magnuson Wetlands Restoration Project and is happening from 8am-noon at Building 308. Volunteers are asked to meet on the north side of NE 65th adjacent to the south parking lot.
Volunteering with this project helps in preserving wildlife habitat and open space in our city.
For further information, contact Miriam Preus at 206-233-4997 or Miriam.preus@seattle.gov.
Miriam will also be holding these work parties March 6, 13, 20 and 27, and April 3 and 10th.
Also happening tomorrow morning from 9-1pm is the Native Plant Border Work Party.
Volunteers will be helping with planting and maintaining the native plants at the border of the Community Garden.
Volunteers are asked to meet east of The Brig next to the Off Leash Dog Area.
