Local neighborhood history displays, including Laurelhurst, Meadowbrook, Ravenna, View Ridge, and Wedgwood, are on display at the Northeast Library all this month in honor of the City’s Neighbor Appreciation Day.
"Did you know that this area featured two ghost towns, another Yesler's Mill, a railroad, a dairy farm, a college that was not connected to the University of Washington, a genuine saint, and the city's first p-patch?" the website says.
The exhibit includes lots of informative panels illustrated with historic photos, maps, documents, and newspaper articles.
