The 46th District is holding a Town Hall Meeting tomorrow, February 20, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Meadowbrook Community Center.
"As the 2010 Legislative Session crosses the halfway point, legislators from the 46th District are looking to have a dialogue with their North Seattle neighbors," the website says.
Senator Ken Jacobsen, Representative Phyllis Gutierrez Kenney, and Representative Scott White will all be attending.
"The current session is scheduled to end on March 11, and the Legislature is expected to be working on and finalizing the budget in the remaining weeks. The lawmakers are hoping for a good turnout to help guide their decisions about how to tackle the budget deficit.
Education, public safety, and transportation will be discussed, and public input on other policy areas facing Olympia this session is also welcome.
