UW Botanic Gardens welcomes all Laurelhurst neighbors to come Walk on the Wild Side of Union Bay Natural Area next Sunday, July 19th from 3-5 pm.
Enjoy a tour designed for the Laurelhurst neighborhood to come explore their backyard marvel and learn more about this unique outdoor laboratory - hear about the history of this 74 acre neighborhood gem, and see the vast array of wildlife.
The event is free and there are special activities for kids - including a critter tour.
RSVP’s are helpful so staff knows how many tour guides to have available for our neighborhood.
Please call 206-543-8616
Tour starts at the wooden kiosk at the east end of Wahkiakum Lane, just West of the buildings at Center for Urban Horticulture.
See you there! Looks very interesting!
