Sand Point Grill has New Owners! And 3 Courses for $30!

The Sand Point Grill was born about 11 years ago in the spot where Le Fleur, also a restaurant, used to be. It was opened my two gentlemen with quite a bit of restaurant experience in the "front of the house."

As of May 1st, it is now owned by a local couple who live in the neighborhood. Their experience lies in the "back of the house." Craig and Kristina Bartleson have each worked in kitchen for the last 25 years and have always known they wanted to own their own place and are very excited to have found the Grill and find it a good fit for their style of food and their business priorities. These prioritites include a sense of community, a relationship with their clientele and good, honest food. Sand Point Grill has always had these attributes as is demonstrated by its longevity and the loyalty of both it's customers and employees.

Craig and Kristina kept the same crew with the exception of Charlie Durham, the chef, as Craig is now the chef. (Charlie has moved on to run the kitchen at The Grange Cafe in Duvall.) "Our waiters have all been here for years and one, Catherine Bongiorno, has been at the Sand Point Grill since it's inception 11 years ago! She has developed quite a loyal following of her own! Our bartender, Kyle Nicholes, grew up right here in Laurelhurst and many of our customers have known him all his life."

You can read more about Craig and Kristina and check out their new menu at www.Sandpointgrill.com.

Also check out the 3 courses for $30 special.

And kids eat free Sunday, Monday and Tuesday 5-6:30pm.
