SDOT published this information:
SR 520 closing again this weekend — this time, the westbound lanes
Last weekend’s closure of eastbound SR 520 for girder installation was the first of four such weekends. This weekend, from 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5 to 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, crews will close all lanes of westbound SR 520 between 92nd Avenue Northeast in Clyde Hill and Montlake Boulevard in Seattle. Please see the map below.
The bicycle and pedestrian trail under SR 520 in Montlake will also be closed. Westbound SR 520 between Montlake and I-5 will remain open, as will eastbound SR 520 and the SR 520 Trail across Lake Washington.
What neighbors should expect
Crews will work around the clock this weekend to set more long concrete girders over the highway. The beam-like girders will support a new landscaped lid over SR 520. You can watch crews place the girders this weekend by viewing this construction camera. We received a temporary noise variance from the city of Seattle that allows nighttime work to exceed the noise limits granted under the project’s Major Public Projects Construction Noise Variance. Crews will do everything possible to complete this work quickly, quietly and safely.
As always, stay up to date on closures and construction activities by visiting the Construction Corner map
