In August, homes were continuing to sell in the neighborhood, and selling rapidly. The average days on market for August 2020 was 11 compared to 56 in August 2019. There were fewer active listings than last year, 18 vs 11, but pending listings and solds were neck and neck. The median sales price this August was $2,159,000 vs $1,335,000 in 2019 an increase of $824,000.
As fall approaches my prediction will be that it will be a continued seller's market, so if you are thinking of selling, work with a full service realtor who knows the neighborhood, get your home inspected and make the necessary repairs, and be ready when the time is right for you.
