In our current world, it's no surprise that we had only 8 active listings this April compared to 15 in April of 2019. With that said our number of Pending and Sold properties mirrored April 2019.
The largest difference was in our Median sales prices:
- April 2020 $1,245,000
- April 2019 $1,525,000
Much of this difference can be contributed to the volume of homes on the market, and the current pandemic. With all these unknowns, buyers and sellers are anxious, yet we are seeing multiple offers in the greater Seattle area. We are also experiencing very low mortgage rates which are drawing buyers into the marketplace.
If you are contemplating putting your home on the market now is the time to do those little projects and touch-ups so when you are ready your home will be too. And please rest assured that realtors are taking every precaution if you are looking at homes or selling your residence.
