Saturday Stormy Weather Story Time

Miller Library, located in Laurelhurst at the Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street), is holding a story time on Saturday with a stormy weather theme from 10:30-11:15am.

The information says:

When storms come, how do animals and plants react? Hear a fable and two science-based tales of stormy weather. After the stories, kids can make a winter branch mobile.

Books to be read are:
THE CLOUD SPINNER by Michael Catchpool & Alison Jay
THE SEA, THE STORM, AND THE MANGROVE TANGLE by Lynne Cherry
THE WAY OF THE WILLOW BRANCH by Emery & Durga Bernhard

Story time is geared towards children ages 3 to 8 and celebrates gardens, plants and nature. All ages and their families are invited.
