The Seattle Audubon Society is having several bird walks in the area.

Wednesday, November 20 9:00-11am Magnuson Park
We will be walking ~2 miles, uphill and down, looking and listening for forest birds. Then we will stroll through the wetlands, looking for water birds. As time allows, we may finally reach Lake Washington. This walk is suitable for any level of bird-watcher, including children (accompanied by adult). Bring binoculars, warm water-proof clothes/shoes, water, and a willingness to stop and listen.
The leader is Jan Bragg. Meet at Promontory Point Environmental Learning Center, west side of boat launch parking lot off NE 65th Street.
Saturday, November 23rd 9-11am Union Bay Natural Area
Neighborhood bird walk for beginning birders or new Seattleites will especially enjoy this exposure to the rich variety of regional bird life. Leaders are Julia Hansbrough & John Leszczynski Families and non-members are welcome to attend. Meet at the Center for Urban Horticulture in the East parking lot off NE 41st Street, one block beyond the place where Mary Gates Memorial Drive turns left to become NE 41st Street
