40th Avenue NE Near Hospital Construction Update

Construction Continues On 40th Avenue NE Through Friday 

Due to unforeseen issues, the construction work within 40th Avenue NE will continue through Friday.  Crews from Seattle Public Utilities are tapping the existing water main in the street and are setting a new water meter for Building Care. 

During standard construction hours (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.), 40th Avenue will be narrowed to one lane, and parking will not be allowed on the west side of the street near Sand Point Way NE and the old Wells Fargo building. Flaggers will be used for traffic control. 

If no further issues are encountered, this work could be complete as soon as Thursday.  However, neighbors should plan for impacts through 6 p.m. on Friday.
