The Laurelhurst Blog received these photos taken after the recent heavy wind. Several very large branches fell onto the path on the north end, and others on the west side of the park.
Neighbors reported large branches falling in their yards during the powerful wind storm.
Strong wind gusts, approaching 60 mph in some areas, toppled trees and took down power lines last Sunday morning. The National Weather Service reported that winds peaked in most areas by 4:20am.
