SR520 Closed This Week-End

WSDOT published this information about the upcoming SR520 closure:

Plan ahead for westbound SR 520 closure over the Nov. 10-11 weekend Over the Nov. 10-11 weekend, contractor crews on the Eastside will return for the first of two weekend directional closures in the corridor and work over the weekend to replace the lights under the three Eastside lids at Evergreen Point Road, 84th Avenue Northeast, and 92nd Avenue Northeast. Starting at 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, our contractor will close the westbound lanes and ramps of SR 520 between 92nd Avenue Northeast and Montlake Boulevard to replace the first batch of 1,750 lights underneath the highway lids. The highway will reopen to all travelers by 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12. All eastbound lanes and ramps will remain open, as well as the SR 520 Trail. Closure information: From 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, all westbound lanes and ramps of SR 520 will close between 92nd Avenue Northeast and Montlake Boulevard. All eastbound lanes and ramps, and the SR 520 Trail will remain open throughout the weekend.
