Multigeneration Classes At Community Center

Registration is underway for various Fall multigenerational classes at the Laurelhurst Community Center. 

Register online, in-person at the Community Center Monday through Friday 9-2pm or by calling 684-7529.  

Here are the classes:

TAI CHI           

Ages 18 and Older

This class teaches the classical Yang style Tai Chi and is designed both for beginning students and those with some experience. Practicing Tai Chi will improve participants’ overall health, balance, strength, and flexibility. The instructor, Robert Friedman, a student of T Y Pang, has practiced Tai Chi for 40 years.

MULTI-GENERATIONAL SEWING   

Ages 16 and Older

Explore the world of sewing on a machine. Hands on creative projects will give you the chance to learn or build on your sewing skills. Create one of a kind projects while learning this invaluable and practical set of skills that will last a lifetime! No class 11/12.
