Friday Laurelhurst Elementary Ice-Cream Carnival

The annual Laurelhurst Elementary School Ice-cream Social and Carnival is happening Friday from 5-8 pm in the school cafeteria and South playground.

Karina, the PTA event coordinator told the Laurelhurst Blog Staff:

I'd like to invite the neighborhood and surrounding community to our annual Laurelhurst Elementary Ice Cream Social.  It is a fun and memorable tradition at Laurelhurst and our last fundraiser for the year. All are welcome, so invite your neighbors, friends and family!

Like every year, we will feature the best Ice Cream Sundaes with locally produced organic ice cream from the Snoqualmie Ice Cream Company and selection of toppings.

There will also be pony rides, carnival games, sweet treats like cotton candy and donuts, face painting, awesome splash games, like Beat the Bucket, and Splash Blast - (bring a towel) and other games.  

The PTA will be offering hot dogs (veggie or all-beef) and chips for sale in the cafeteria.

This fun community-wide event benefits the Laurelhurst PTA and is open to the public, so come on down, meet your neighbors, and support your local public school!
