5119 NE 42nd Street

 

 

 May was a very busy month in Laurelhurst with nine new listings and eight sold homes. 

Of the sold homes, one sold at asking price, a second sold at a reduced listing price and the remainder sold over their listing prices, which is indicative of a strong market in Laurelhurst. Days on market also remained brisk with an average of eight days.
 

Of the nine homes that came on the market last moth, four went into contract in thirteen days or less.

 

Here is a list of the active listings that weren't sold: 

• Two are located next to each other 5125 and 5119 NE 42nd Street very different styles and price points. The home at 5125,  built in 1983,  has contemporary lines and spaces with a master upstairs with a view deck and two bedrooms in the daylight basement. The home at 5119 has an expansive level backyard, view deck on the second floor and five bedrooms upstairs plus a daylight basement.  
• The contemporary home located at 4545 55th Avenue NE has a rooftop deck with expansive views. 
• The home on NE Latimer is iconic in its design and historical relevance for Laurelhurst as one of the three original estates.
• The 87 feet of waterfront 1922 home on West Laurelhurst Drive NE, designed by Seattle Architect Edwin Ivey has been owned by the current family for the last 30 years.
