Miller Library, located in Laurelhurst at the Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street), continues to hold its monthly story time on-line.
This month's theme is " Garden Story Time" and is available through the end of the month.
The information says:
Vegetables are delicious, and growing them is a powerful act. After the stories, we invite kids to the program room to make a vegetable face in the style of Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Check in each month for stories and activities that celebrate gardens, plants, and nature!
Books to be read are:
SECRETS OF THE VEGETABLE GARDEN by Carron Brown
CECIL’S GARDEN by Holly Keller
OUR SCHOOL GARDEN by Rick Swann
Story time is geared towards children ages 3 to 8 and celebrates gardens, plants and nature.
