I’m a Laurelhurst community resident and wanted to share an experience that I witnessed on Monday, March 23rd. I encountered a group of teens up to some mischief at Magnuson Park.
They were ripping a sign out from the ground near the boat launch (see the x on the map below). They basically were grabbing the signpost and rocking it back and forth until it came out of the ground.
They fled when I took out my phone to take their pictures. That’s the sign lying on the ground in the picture.
