Saturday Center of Urban Horticulture Storytime

Summertime Stories Story Time

Miller Library, located in Laurelhurst at the UW Botanic Gardens (3501 NE 41st Street), is holding a story time on Saturday with a summer time theme from 10:30-11:15am.

The information says:

Here comes summer, with plenty of time for hiking, daydreaming, gardening, and stargazing.  After the stories, make a nature journal to take with you on your summer adventures.

Books to be read are:
QUIET IN THE GARDEN by Aliki
MISS MAPLE’S SEEDS by Eliza Wheeler
THE DANDELION SEED’S BIG DREAM by Joseph Anthony

Story time is geared towards children ages 3 to 8 and celebrate gardens, plants and nature. All ages and their families are invited.
