The public is invited to help review and score ideas for Park and street Improvements at tomorrow's project development meetings at the University Branch Library (5009 Roosevelt Way NE).
The information says:
You are invited to review the park and street improvement ideas submitted by the public for Your Voice, Your Choice: Parks & Streets. Attendees will discuss the proposed projects in small groups and then individually score ideas based on community benefit and need at location.
In Project Development, community members take the ideas submitted during the Idea Collection phase and prioritize them to 8-10 ideas per Council District. Participants are responsible for evaluating the project ideas that are submitted based on need at the project location & community benefit of the proposed project and giving projects numerical ratings. Each Project Development meeting will be supported by Your Voice, Your Choice staff who will ensure that community members have the necessary resources and tools to evaluate projects.
Participation is open to all who live, work, go to school, receive services, volunteer, or have a connection to the City of Seattle.
If you would like to see all the submitted ideas, check out this map of 2018 ideas sorted by the Project Development meeting at which they’ll be discussed.
At the meeting, you can also get to know the new Your Voice, Your Choice Steering Committee members listed below. They were recently selected through an open-application process to serve as an advisory board and working group for the Your Voice, Your Choice program. You can learn more about them on our website.
