 Median Price:  $1,475,000




December Real Estate Summary: 

December 2017 hit a new low in number of new listings: only 1 and it went pending in only 2 days. The five remaining listings have all been on the market over 44 days with the largest and most expensive home exceeding 16 months on the market. With the average home in Laurelhurst selling in 7-10 days these 5 homes could benefit from large price reductions. Statistically the longer a home stays on the market the more potential buyers wonder if there are problems or just assume it is over priced. Sellers beware. Price to sell, not to sit.


The home that went pending in just 2 days at 4115 51st Avenue NE was sold in August of 2017 for $930,000, then totally remodeled and placed back on the market in just 4 months. The other pending home on East Laurelhurst Drive NE had an incredible view and old world charm. It sat high above the lake and had gracious formal living spaces.
