Nerf Soccer and Pee Wee Basketball Starting At Community Center

Registration is underway for a variety of classes for all ages at the Laurelhurst Community Center.

Here is a list of classes for ages 4-7: 

PEE WEE BASKETBALL

Ages 4-7

This league is a great way to introduce our young players to basketball in a non-competitive atmosphere where playing, learning, and having fun are most important. Participants are divided into teams per age groups. Volunteer coaches encourage the basics of the sport and teamwork. Each participant receives

a team t-shirt. Teams practice one night a week for an hour and game are on Saturdays, all at Laurelhurst Elementary School gym. If you are interested in coaching, please call the community center at 206-684-7529. No class 11/11 and 2/17. PLAY AND PRACTICE TIMES TO BE DETERMINED.

INDOOR NERF SOCCER LEAGUE

Ages 5-6

Get ready for some fun! Gather your friends to play in our coed indoor Nerf soccer league. Kids can be placed on teams as single players or coaches can form teams. Registration packets are available at the community center and must be filled-out in person. Maximum of 10 players per team. Teams practice one night a week for an hour at Laurelhurst Elementary School Gym starting week of September 18 and games are on Friday

evenings beginning October 6.
