Tonight Laurelhurst Community Club Board Meeting Including Proposed Aegis Assisted Living Update




Tonight at 7pm, the Laurelhurst Community Club (LCC) is holding its monthly Board meeting, open to all neighbors tonight at 7pm at the at the WuHsing Tao School of Acupuncture on the Talaris campus in Building D.

LCC told the Laurelhurst Blog Staff that the Seattle Parks Department doesn't staff the Laurelhurst Community Center on Monday nights in the summer, so the WuHsing Tao School  has offered their space and welcomes neighbors. 

This month Pat Murakami, Candidate for Seattle City Council, Position 9, will be stopping by to introduce herself to the Board and neighbors. LCC told the Laurelhurst Blog Staff that they always welcomes candidates from any office.

Also includes in tonight's agenda is an update on the proposed Aegis Assisted Living Facility.

Public comment for Aegis Living, an assisted living and memory care provider to be located at the former Baskin Robbins site at "Five Corners" will be heard tonight at 6:30pm at the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Avenue North) in Room 202. 

The public is invited to offer comments regarding important site planning and design issues that should be addressed in the design for this project.  

Written comments are being accepted through today as the information states, to assist in the preparation of the early design guidance.
