Two Neighborhood Homes Over $10M On Market, Russell Wilson Lived In ONe

Seattle Curbed recently posted about the most expensive homes in Seattle and two are in Laurelhurst.

Kim Dales said that both homes are still on the market.

She added that the more modern one, of the two in the post, at 4911 NE Laurelcrest Lane just had a $2,000,000 price reduction and has been on the market for 177 days. It is just a few years old, very modern and open.
.

Kim said that the home at 4939 NE Laurelhcrest Lane is currently listed at $10,400,000 The home was previously listed in June of 2013 for $10,800,000. It remained on the market for 9 months. It was then rented and relisted for $400,000 less in September of 2015. It has currently been on the market for 196 days. It is an updated traditional home with a pool, dock and lovely grounds.

Here is the information from the post:

4911 NE Laurelcrest Lane ($13.25M)

The 7-BR, 6.25-bath waterfront Laurelhurst residence is 11,809 square-feet of living space, which includes an ADU as well. There's also 145-feet of Lake Washington waterfront that includes your dock and moorage because you will most certainly need that if you can afford this place. The standout shot inside is where the Fleetwood doors open up into the family room and keep going right on outside. Microsoft Accelerator managing director Dave Malcolm, along with wife Shelley, is the seller. They bought the property in 2004 for $3.5M and paid for Stillwell Hanson Architects to design it.

The listing for six-bedroom, 5.25-bath, 9,672 square-foot mansion at 4939 NE Laurelcrest Lane is pretty skimpy on photos. There might be two reasons for that. First, the sellers, Richard & Nancy Alvord. Richard's parents, Ellsworth "Buster" & Nancy Alvord are Seattle medical and philanthropic legends. Second, this was the place Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson called home before buying his new Redmond mansion.
