Truck Cover Ripped Off Of Old Truck During Night Near Laurelhurst Elementary School

The Laurelhurst Blog Staff received this information:

We live on the 4700 block of 46th Avenue NE near Laurelhurst Elementary School.  

Sometime late on the night/early morning of April 8th, the truck cover of our El Camino was ripped off and taken. The cover was literally ripped off all the snaps. At first I thought it had been cut off, but closer inspection revealed it had been ripped. We have not found the cover. 

We suspect "they" thought they would find  something in the truck bed, but it was empty. Fortunately no other damage happened.  

We filed a police report.
