The Seattle Audubon Society is showing a free public screening of "The Messenger" tonight at 7pm at the University of Washington - HUB 145.
The movie will be followed by light refreshments and a short Q&A session.
The Audubon Society website says about the movie:
This visually stunning film explores our deep-seated connection to birds and some of the serious threats that songbirds are facing all around the world.
The documentary is a visually thrilling ode to the beauty and importance of the imperiled songbird, and what it means to all of us on both a global and human level if we lose them.
