Special Tour of Yesler Swamp, Soup and Cider Sunday 2pm

​Kern Ewing, professor of plant ecology, leads a Swamp Walk

Friends of Yesler Swamp is having an event called "Tour of Yesler Swamp, Soup and Cider!" on Sunday from 2-4:30pm.  

The information says:

Please join us for a guided walk through Yesler Swamp led by Kern Ewing, UW professor of restoration ecology. See the progress on the boardwalk and find out more about our native plant restoration.   

Following the walk, at 3 p.m. everyone is invited for soup and cider at the home of Fred and Donna Hoffer at 3904 NE Belvoir Place.

Meet at the east parking lot of the UW Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street).

Suggested donation of $15 to help finish the boardwalk.
