One Of City's Most Expensive Homes Sold This Year

A Colonial Revival waterfront house on the 4100 block of 55th Avenue NE  was noted as being one of the biggest Seattle sales of the year so far at $5.2M.

The 4,400 square foot home, listed as built in 1939, is on a 13,870 square foot lot has 4 bedrooms and 3.75 baths. It also has its own private dock.

The house, built in 2011, at 4108 55th Avenue Northeast was actually "only" listed for $4.65M. One of those bidding wars we keep hearing about must've ensued and the three-level Colonial Revival ended up going for almost $600K over ask.  

The seller was Amazon Studios head Roy Price, who moved to Malibu.  He bought the home for $2.4M in 2010.
